Position Overview:

nGROUP Performance Partners is seeking a dynamic Asset Protection, Security, and Safety Manager! This person's primary focus will be on Carson, CA, and Arizona, with travel required.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security and Asset Protection Manager to lead our organization's efforts in safeguarding people, property, and assets. This role requires a proactive and dedicated professional to oversee all security operations, develop robust asset protection strategies, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively, and a proven track record in security management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Security Operations
  • Manage daily security operations, including supervising security personnel and monitoring activities to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Develop and Implement Asset Protection Strategies

Create and execute strategies to prevent loss, vandalism, theft, and other risks. Assess vulnerabilities and recommend effective security measures to protect company assets.

  • Conduct Risk Assessments

Perform regular evaluations of potential risks and threats, providing recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensuring preparedness for emergencies. Recruit, train, and lead a team of security professionals. Provide regular coaching and performance evaluations to ensure team members meet organizational standards. Ensure all security and asset protection practices align with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies. Work closely with other departments, law enforcement, and external vendors to enhance security measures and promote organizational safety. Monitor, maintain, and upgrade security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access controls, to stay ahead of evolving threats. Respond to security breaches, thefts, or other incidents in a timely and effective manner. Conduct thorough investigations and provide detailed reports.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Security Manager (CSM)) are a plus.
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, or other emergency response procedures (preferred, but not required).
  • Experience with emergency preparedness and crisis management.
  • Proficiency in using security-related technology and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent the organization in external interactions.
  • Dependable, resourceful professional with a passion for security and asset protection.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in the security industry will also be considered.
