Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor to support a growing team of remote medical abstractors. This role is ideal for an experienced Oncology RN with strong attention to detail and a background in chart abstraction.
Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor Schedule & Location:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
• 100% Remote (Work-from-home)
Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor Salary/Wage:
• $40 per hour, paid weekly
Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor Duties:
• Conduct accurate medical record reviews and abstraction
• Transfer information from electronic medical records into data systems
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Complete quality assurance and inter-rater reliability testing as needed
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams
Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor Required Qualifications:
• Active RN license with oncology nursing experience
• Experience in chart abstraction
• Proficiency in navigating EHR/EMR systems
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent written/verbal communication and computer skills
• High-speed Internet connection required
Clinical Nurse Chart Abstractor Education:
• Associates in Nursing - BSN Preferred
Contract Length:
• 15-month contract
