Direct Support Professional at Sevita summary:

As a Direct Support Professional at REM Community Services, you provide compassionate, community-based care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting with personal hygiene, supporting behavioral and developmental goals, and fostering meaningful relationships to promote independence and quality of life. This position requires patience, adaptability, and good communication skills to help participants engage in community activities and achieve personal growth.

Pay $16.00 per hour! Weekend positions available!

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA

  • Education: High School Diploma not required
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Skills:  Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
  • Vehicle:  Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
