Overview
The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) provides support to minimize reimbursement and process approval barriers, improving patient access to therapy. The role requires navigating across stakeholders, sales teams, Payer teams, HUB, etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establishing HCP/office access, understanding support services, including patient coverage, channel acquisition, and site of care options.
Supporting site of care identification, onboarding, and management.
Ensuring patient access and effective account- and patient-level pull-through.
Monitoring patient compliance and adherence.
Building collaborative relationships with colleagues to educate on coverage and coding.
Conducting daily case update meetings with HUB and communicating case status.
Supporting sales with reimbursement materials and assistance.
Territory planning and time management within geographical areas.
Requirements
BS/BA Degree
5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/device sales
Experience with Buy & Bill and Specialty Pharmacy preferred
Previous rare disease experience preferred
Knowledge of billing, coding, appeals, and payer systems
Understanding of private payer, Medicare, Medicaid reimbursement policies
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a Hybrid environment
Valid driver’s license and travel availability
