Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage complex manufacturing projects from inception to completion. Your work will directly impact the success of our manufacturing operations and contribute to the growth of our company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a passion for manufacturing, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning and execution, including defining project scope, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
2. Implementing effective project management strategies and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
3. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and moving forward as planned.
4. Identifying potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans, and taking proactive steps to mitigate them.
5. Leading project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and driving team members towards achieving project goals.
6. Regularly reporting on project status, progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
7. Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
8. Applying turnaround management principles and practices to ensure effective recovery of projects that are not meeting their objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the manufacturing industry
2. A strong engineering background
3. A track record of successfully managing complex manufacturing projects.
2. Demonstrated experience in turnaround management, with the ability to identify and rectify issues that are hindering project success.
3. A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving project goals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project status, progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
