Description

Our Jaffrey headquarters is looking for a full-time mechanic. This position will report to the Fleet Manager.

Job Summary:

•Responsible for all trucks, forklifts and other mechanical equipment.

•Ensure preventive maintenance and regular service work are being performed at necessary intervals.

•Perform roadside and remote repairs and rescue as needed.

•Arrange for towing when necessary.

•Coordination and scheduling of annual vehicle inspections.

•Cost effectively limit down time on out of service vehicles.

•Install and replace GPS units as needed.

•Learn to utilize JPRO and Geotab for diagnostic alerts and service.

•Maintain reasonable inventory levels on commonly used service kits, parts and supplies.

•Fill out work logs.

•Other special projects identified by management.

•Job Summary subject to change.

•Keep garage and office area neat and clean.
