Position: Operations Engineer

Location: St. Louis, MO

We’re seeking a mission-driven Operations Engineer to join our team in St. Louis. This role is ideal for a former U.S. Navy technician or engineer with strong mechanical instincts and experience working with pumps, valves, piping, or water systems .

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role with clear potential to grow into senior management . We're looking for someone who can take ownership of operations today and develop into a strategic leader tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, with a focus on fluid handling and water treatment processes.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs of pumps, piping, valves, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient system performance.
• Support upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Help shape long-term operations strategy as part of a developing leadership track.

Qualifications:

• Navy experience in mechanical, propulsion, or engineering roles strongly preferred.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong work ethic and comfort working in hands-on, industrial environments.
• Prior experience with water systems, boilers, or HVAC is a major plus.
• Desire to grow into a leadership role and take on increased responsibility over time.
