A global organization with operations in the industrial and trade sectors is seeking an experienced professional to support its public affairs and policy engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a background in trade compliance, government relations, and economic research, with an interest in international policy and regulatory matters.
Build and maintain relationships with trade agencies and relevant public-sector institutions to enhance strategic opportunities
Track and analyze U.S. government policy developments in areas such as trade, manufacturing, and international relations
Draft internal reports and executive summaries outlining policy impacts on operations and industry outlooks
Support compliance procedures by assisting with internal audits, training sessions, and policy updates
Coordinate with industry groups, external consultants, and legal advisors on legislative and regulatory initiatives
Contribute to outreach and advocacy plans, including stakeholder communications and event planning
Participate in policy briefings, conferences, and industry panels to stay informed on market and regulatory trends
Assist in shaping and supporting corporate responsibility initiatives tied to community or policy engagement
Complete other related assignments as directed by leadership
Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, international relations, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a policy, advocacy, or regulatory affairs role
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
Excellent written communication and research skills
Proficiency in Korean is required
