Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

As our Medical Director | Managing Veterinarian, you'll be at the forefront of our practice's success:

  • Partner with leadership to shape the strategic direction and vision of the practice, develop and execute financial planning, and prioritizing initiatives that drive growth and excellence of the practice.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, actively listening to their concerns and empathizing with their needs.
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and a full range of diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutritional guidance.
  • Maintain meticulous client and patient records, ensuring all logs are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by remaining current on new medical information and advancements in veterinary medicine.
  • Play a vital role in developing our support team , ensuring they deliver exceptional care and client service.
  • Represent Louisville Family Animal Hospital with a positive and professional image within the community.

Are You the One? Skills & Qualifications

We're looking for a leader who embodies our commitment to outstanding veterinary care:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • Active and in good standing licensure to practice in Colorado.
  • A profound commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • The ability to make confident and effective decisions.
